For a first-time user, it may take you about 5 to 10 minutes to complete the application.
ELIGIBILITY
For application criteria for registration as an elector for a Geographical Constituency or an elector for a
Functional Constituency/a voter for an Election Committee Subsector, please access the Registration and Electoral
Office's website at
http://www.reo.gov.hk/en/voter/application.htm.
APPLICATION CLOSING DATE
Starting from the 2022 voter registration cycle, the final register of electors will be published in September of every year. In this regard, the application deadline is 2 June of each year.
The statutory deadline refers to the date on which an application reaches the Registration and Electoral Office. Applications which reach this office later than the above date will be considered for the purpose of compiling the register of electors for the following year.
If you have not received any notification from the Registration and Electoral Office 14 days after submission of application form, you may call our Enquiry Hotline on 2891 1001 to check the progress of your application.
